Situation
The Christ Hospital is consistently recognized as one of the top 50 hospitals in the United States and is Greater Cincinnati’s top choice for adult health care. The Christ Hospital wanted to supplement their current efforts to grow volume for specialty and primary care service lines by developing a program to become the local “go-to” resource for health care-related information.
Challenge
Zizzo Group was challenged to create a multi-year educational series for consumers to influence health care decision-making in the Greater Cincinnati area and to enhance the position of The Christ Hospital as a resource for better health and wellness in the community.
Approach
Zizzo Group partnered with “The Enquirer” and local TV station WLWT to develop an integrated marketing and communications strategy that reinforces The Christ Hospital’s leadership and commitment to the Cincinnati community. The Zizzo Group’s writing team continues to work closely with The Christ Hospital’s leading physicians to provide healthcare information with a hyper-local spin through the initiative’s Web site. A monthly interactive feature provides rich tools and education while local classes, screenings and seminars are promoted to help drive brick and mortar visits to many of their local clinics.
Results
Through this initiative, Zizzo Group created the Get Healthy Cincinnati micro-site to address the need for local, community-based online health care research tools and information. This comprehensive campaign consists of new media and traditional advertising to drive traffic to the co-branded micro-site.
Pages on the micro-site were viewed a total of 16,463 times in less than a five-month timeframe since its inception. According to The Christ Hospital physicians, multiple consumers commented positively on the initiative.
