I remember when I first received an invitation to join Pinterest last summer. I ignored it without hesitation. Here was yet another social network to occupy my time – as if Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIN weren’t enough. Not to mention my new smartphone (or should I say the 24/7, connected-at-all-times, extension-of-my-very-being, and reason-for-my-carpal-tunnel-syndrome phone) weren’t enough.
